for some reason the .wav files don't seem to work? Also what is the relevance of the .phn files?

Alice96, wav files are in NIST format and can be open with sph2pipe (https://www.openslr.org/resources/3/) like this: ``` sph2pipe FILE.WAV -f wav > tst.wav ``` .phn are the phonemes with alignments.
